Sunday 12 July, Anne Nguyen will be part of Les Rencontres du spectacle vivant organised by La Région Rhône-Alpes during the Festival d’Avignon to talk about the state of young creation.

“It’s a sort of b-boying performed in the style of Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. Or let’s say a kind of breakdance crossed with William Forsythe’s concepts. Today, choreographer Anne Nguyen is used to these kinds of comments about her work. She understands the comparison as she is attached to deconstructing hip-hop’s vocabulary in order to reconstruct it, like a puzzle, in choreographies which are more and more acclaimed.”
